Doha: The Social and Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI) at Qatar University has announced the invitation to submit research papers and posters for the upcoming workshop entitled “Sustainability and Quality of Urban Life in Qatar and the Gulf Region: Workshop on Standards and Methodologies.”
According to a post on Twitter, SESRI said it welcomes paper submissions from researchers from Qatar and the Gulf region for this session covering topics including sustainable cities, behavioural urbanism, quality of urban life, and human well-being.
The papers can focus on the conceptual framework, measures, tools and methodologies, evidence-based assessment and advancing policies for promoting urban quality of life, the statement read.
The deadline for extended abstract submission is May 15. Participants whose abstracts are selected for oral presentation will be notified latest by May 18. Submission of PDF version of full paper closes on May 25. Abstracts can be submitted to: sesri.events@qu.edu.qa.
