Brussels: European stock markets opened trading on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, on a mixed performance, as each reacted in its own way to the quarterly earnings reports of major companies ahead of the European Central Bank's meeting tomorrow.
In the major markets, the CAC 40 in the Paris exchange fell by 0.10 percent, while the DAX in Frankfurt rose by 0.21 percent.
By contrast, the FTSE 100 declined by 0.33 percent, while the FTSE MIB in the Milan exchange remained broadly stable, edging up by 0.03 percent.
