Total Research Centre-Qatar (TRC-Q) recently welcomed over fifty students from the HEC Paris Business school as a part of their journey to visit large industrial projects in Qatar.
The visit commenced with a welcome by Dr Philippe Julien, Director of TRC-Q, who then gave the students a presentation on the history, objectives and achievements of Total EP Qatar and TRC-Q.
“Working together with the academic medium is absolutely mandatory when you carry out research and development. This includes funding research projects carried out by universities, welcoming interns in our facilities or organizing visits of our labs for students, as it was the case for this HEC Paris group,” said Philippe Julien.
“Qatar has become an attractive country for top international management programs and the visiting Executive MBA students learned a lot by visiting Qatar’s state of arts projects and facilities”, said Yousef Al Jaber, Head of CSR and Institutional Relations at Total E&P Qatar.
Guillaume Chalmin, Managing Director of Total E&P Qatar and Group Representative said regarding the visit: “We are happy to have welcomed the students of HEC Paris to visit our facilities. We are confident that they now have a better understanding of the importance and functions of our research centre. The Peninsula
