Baghdad: Iraqi forces captured eight Islamic State members who were heading towards the North of the country.
A security source said that the eight men had three explosive belts when they were captured at Tigris river. Meanwhile the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said that they killed a number of Islamic State militants and destroyed some of their headquarters in an air strike on Al Anbar West of Iraq.
A statement released by the Ministry of Defense said that they received intel from Iraqi security which helped them ensure the success of the airstrike. They also destroyed some of the group's weapons and artillery.
