DOHA: India’s President Pranab Mukherjee has conveyed his greetings and congratulations to the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on assuming power.
“India values its cordial and friendly ties with Qatar, underpinned by close people-to-people contacts. I am confident that the ongoing cooperation across the full spectrum of political, economic and cultural activities between our two countries will continue to diversify and further strengthen in the years to come for the mutual benefit of our peoples,” said President Mukherjee in his message.
He wished the Emir good health and well-being and continued progress and prosperity for Qatar.
