Doha: Ambassador H E Syed Ahsan Raza Shah held open house (khuli katchehry) at the premises of Embassy of Pakistan, Doha yesterday. 

He interacted with the participants of the meeting on a wide range of issues related to the community. A large number of community members from various walks of life attended the meeting. In his welcome remarks, the Ambassador reiterated that the welfare of the community is one of the top priorities of the Government of Pakistan. 

He briefed the attendees about the continued efforts of the Embassy to provide efficient consular and welfare services to the community, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The members of the community raised several complaints, queries and issues pertaining to labour and employment issues, property disputes in Pakistan, education issues, Roshan Digital Accounts, NICOP, passports and attestations, some of which were resolved instantly. 

The Ambassador also updated the participants on the COVID-19 related restrictions in Qatar and Pakistan and the Embassy’s efforts in this regard.

The community members appreciated the Embassy’s community outreach and gave useful suggestions to further improve the services, which the Ambassador welcomed with appreciation. This was the fourth khuli katchery held over the past four months. 

Date for the next khuli katchery session will be announced at the earliest.
