Doha, Qatar: FIFA has praised Jordan for its exemplary sportsmanship after the national team left its FIFA World Cup 2026 locker room spotless and presented gifts and traditional sweets to tournament staff following its group-stage exit.
In a social media post captioned "Bowing out with class. ???? Thank you for your contributions to the biggest-ever FIFA World Cup, Jordan!", FIFA commended the country for the thoughtful gesture.
After their match against Argentina, the Jordanians left a clean dressing room and placed boxes of traditional Jordanian sweets, souvenirs and a thank-you note for FIFA and stadium staff, expressing appreciation for their hospitality and efforts throughout the tournament.

Your efforts behind the scenes have played an important role in creating an experience that we will always remember.
