BAGHDAD: Eleven people have been killed and 54 others were injured on Monday when five car bombs went off in different parts of Baghdad.
A police source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) "A car bomb exploded in Sadr City, east of Baghdad, killing four people and wounding ten others."
He added that the other car bomb exploded in the fourth police district Shurta ElRaba's southwest of Baghdad, killing at least two people and wounding eleven others.
The source explained that a car bomb exploded in the neighborhood of the Resalah southwest of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding a dozen others.
He pointed out that a car bomb exploded in the first Hurria area near (PATA) gallery, killing one person and wounding nine others.
The other car bomb exploded in the second Hurria area, the Station Road, killing three people and wounding a dozen others. (QNA)
