DOHA: Qatar Airways will mark the end of Ramadan with a special ‘Eid ticket giveaway’ for all citizens and residents of Qatar through the microsite www.qatarairways.com/eidmubarak.
The new ‘Sharing the World with you this Eid’ site will take online users in Qatar to an interactive, animated Qatar Airways route map where they can browse and familiarise themselves with the airline’s global destinations.
After entering their name, QID number and email address, Qataris and residents seeking adventure or time to relax this Eid will be able to select the destination to gift their family member or loved one with a chance to win a pair of Qatar Airways tickets.
Every individual that registers online to win tickets for others will also be entered into a raffle draw to win a pair of tickets to any of Qatar Airways’ global destinations.
Vice President Commercial – Qatar, Ehab Amin, said: “We take this opportunity to wish all Eid Mubarak in advance. ‘Sharing the World with you this Eid’ campaign gives the opportunity for the airline to spread traditional sentiments associated with Eid.
“With this campaign, we strive to create a new way of giving back to the people of Qatar to show our gratitude for their support.
“In keeping with traditions of this auspicious time of year, we want to give all that we can but also allow our customers in Qatar to give to their families and loved ones.
“With such a diverse range of international destinations, we share the global network Qatar Airways has to offer with travellers from the airline’s hub and home.”
Recipients of the gift will get an auto-generated email advising of their nomination. If they accept the destination gift, they will confirm their details and be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to that destination.
At this stage the nominated individual will be able to take on the role of entering the site and gifting to another loved one or family member in the same process of ‘sharing the world’.
