Doha: Al Gharafa continued their preseason preparations ahead of the new Qatar Stars league (QSL) season with a 1-1 draw against Portuguese third division side CD Fatima.
Pedro Caixinia’s side took an early lead in the tie through youngster Abdulghani Muneer, before being pegged back by the hosts.
This was the second friendly for the Cheetahs as part of their preseason training camp.
Last week, Al Gharafa stumbled to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Liga Nos side Estoril Praia.
Gharafa will now move onto their final game of their preseason training camp, when they face a Benfica B side tomorrow.
Al Gharafa will head back to Doha on August 7, where the Cheetahs will ramp up their preparations further ahead of the new season which will kick off on September 15. Al Rayyan will defend their title.
