MOSCOW: Four people were killed and eight others were injured when a fire broke out at an industrial waste treatment plant in Russia's northern region of Khanty-Mansiisk, the emergencies ministry said on Saturday.
"It was a fire. It is now contained," a spokesman for the ministry's regional branch, Sergei Didenko, told AFP.
The fire broke out earlier Saturday, the regional ministry said in a separate statement. (AFP)
