Doha: Ooredoo has announced the launch of a host of new features for Hala customers on the Ooredoo Mobile App, as the company aims to significantly improve their user experience for prepaid customers.
The new features have been designed to give users direct control over managing key Hala resources from their smartphones
With the new updates, Hala customers can now remotely subscribe and unsubscribe to various prepaid services on the mobile app, such as the 4G Key, Hala Smart Packs, Mobile Internet Packs, Ooredoo Passport and international services, such as International SMS Packs, International Calling Packs, International Saver Key, India Key, Bangladesh Key, and Philippines SMS Key.
The new app update has become available after strong prepaid customer demand, and aims to cater for the company’s large customer base that use their mobile devices to maintain their services as an integral part of their smart lifestyles. The Ooredoo Mobile App, which was launched in 2013, allows Shahry and Hala customers to top-up their accounts, pay their bills, subscribe to different services, manage Nojoom Rewards, and block spam SMS without having to contact Ooredoo customer service.
The mobile app is available for free download on the iTunes Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). The popular app has a positive review of 4.1 stars and is consistently one of the top-used service apps in Qatar.
Ooredoo also launched yesterday a new package on Mozaic TV— Zee Family, as the company expands its entertainment services for Qatar’s diverse population.
For QR35 per month the new Zee Family suite of channels provides high quality content for Indian expats in Qatar, with a host of cricket, Bollywood and movie blockbusters.
The package will include a host of channels with movies from Zee Premiere, Zee Action and Zee Classic, the best of Indian entertainment, education and information with Zee Smile and Zee Marathi and two leading music channels Punjabi and Zing.
The Zee Family package will also include the Ten Cricket channels, offering live, high quality broadcasts, from the top Test playing nations - Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, the West Indies and Zimbabwe, as well as customised sport content from India. This is the latest package launched by Mozaic TV in 2014 aimed at a selected expat audience as Ooredoo works to provide the biggest and best in entertainment from around the world for Qatar.
