Sana’a: In keeping with an Emiri gesture of the Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and under the patronage of Yemeni President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi, the 4th Orphan’s Mass Wedding 2013 will be held on Thursday in the capital Sana’a and a number of Yemeni provinces.
The mass wedding will be held under the supervision of the Orphan Development Foundation.
The largest mass wedding in Qatar and the region comes in the context of developmental support provided by the country to Yemen in
various spheres. Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Jabor Al Thani said: “This Mass Wedding of orphans has several developmental dimensions, primarily psychological stability for this category of the society.” QNA
