DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in the green area on Tuesday 89.69 points or 0.93 percent to 9,733.19 points from the previous closing of 9,643.50 points on Monday.
The volume of the shares up to 8,218,507 from 6,034,029 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR348,882,885.72 from QR 267,375,772.11 Monday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share added 1.75 percent to QR 163.00, Nakilat whose share added 1.82 percent to QR 18.99, United Dev. Company gained 1.46 percent to QR 21.50 and Electricity & Water up by 2.0197 percent to QR 157.20.
The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.27 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.27 percent points.
The industrial sector was gained 0.95 percent points while insurance sector down 0.35 percent points. (QNA)
