Doha: Qatar Chemical Company Ltd (Q-Chem) held recently its annual townhall meeting for Qatari employees working in the company, under the banner ‘In Their Footsteps’.
The meeting was attended by the senior management, group and department managers, and all Qatari employees working at Q-Chem companies including Q-Chem II and Ras Laffan Olefins Company Ltd (RLOC).
Q-Chem General Manager, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Emadi opened the session and expressed his appreciation to the commitment and loyalty of Qatari employees towards the company. He said, “We mutually pledge our lives to develop skills and empowering talented Qataris to achieve
their goals”.
Since its inception, Q-Chem has embarked to develop national cadre to achieve the company’s strategic goals. Al Emadi espoused the company’s vision and Qatarisation drive as the priority. He also underlined the importance of team work company wide and the importance of preserving high performance achievement and standards especially on safety, health, and environment. This, he said, will guarantee sustainability and competence among big players in petrochemical industry.
The meeting presented the company’s Qatarisation drive progress and included variety of motivational and self-empowering sessions alongside team-building activities. These activities were intended to bring together employees and unleash their
hidden skills.
