DOHA: The weather is expected to be unstable from today until Friday with chances of thunder and rain at places at times accompanied by light to moderate northeasterly to easterly wind.
The Met Office said in a press statement issued yesterday that the unstable weather will be caused by low pressure extending from the Arabian Sea.
A mass of cold air in the upper layers of the atmosphere would likely cause thunder and rain at places at times, particularly in the afternoons on the three days. This is a result of the changing season from summer to winter. The interim phase (the current one) is the autumn season, said the Met office.  A fresh spell of unstable weather is expected to hit the country in the first week of November as well, the weather bureau said.
