Khartoum: The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan, Al Hadi Idris praised the role played by the State of Qatar in Darfur, especially with regard to supporting the peace process, achieving stability and taking sustainable development renaissance as a basis for social peace and peaceful coexistence in the region.
Idris also praised the projects implemented by the State of Qatar related to reconstruction, in order to advance stability in the region.
The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council stressed, during his visit to one the model village established by Qatar Charity in South Darfur, the importance of these achievements in the stability of the region, noting the Qatari role in this regard, and what was achieved on the ground.
The model village, which was established, includes two primary and secondary schools, a health centre, a kindergarten, a mosque, a police station and sports facilities.
Idris valued the achievements related to building various service and development facilities in the states of Darfur in order to consolidate the pillars of security and stability in the region.
