KABUL: A heavy explosion rocked southern Uruzgan province of Afghanistan on Thursday, killing at least ten Afghan civilians.
Local authorities said the incident took place after a civilian bus struck with a roadside bomb, killing ten Afghan civilians and injuring more than ten others, according to Afghan online newspaper (Khaama Press).
Provincial governor spokesman Abdullah Hemat said a number of women and children were also among those killed or injured following the blast.
No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident. (QNA)
