DOHA: The Supreme Education Council (SEC) has started work on a project to construct a huge complex in West Bay close to the Qatar University that will house its various sections and departments.
The project is expected to be completed in two years, Al Sharq reported yesterday quoting a source.
Once the new facility is ready, the SEC headquarters will be moved from its current premises in the Tower Area in West Bay.
Besides the headquarters, the new complex will also house SEC’s Education Institute, Higher Education Institute, Evaluation Institute, among other sections, said the daily.
