KATHMANDU : At least 11 people were killed when a bus plunged down a mountain road in western Nepal Saturday, police said.
Nine people died immediately and the others died while being taken to hospital, German press agency (DPA) said, adding that at least 25 others were injured in the accident that occurred on the Bhimdutta highway.
The bus went out of control after the driver had parked on a steep incline to check a punctured tyre. He fled following the accident. (QNA)
