DOHA: Thousands of customers of City Center Doha (CCD) yesterday stayed at the shopping mall till 4am for the “First Starlight Shopping” which featured a colourful parade extravaganza.
Both the young and old participated in the parade extravaganza and other events held throughout the Mall.
Children and parents alike enjoyed interacting with fun characters dressed in colourful costumes.
The Starlight Shopping event was organised by the mall management to give customers an opportunity to extend their shopping experience for 2012 with shops open till 4am.
Olaf Kindt, Director of CCD, said: “I wanted to close out the year on a high note. With all the challenges of the past year it was important that our customers celebrate with us the new and exciting changes that are happening now.”
Olaf thanked all of the customers that have stayed loyal to CCD during the reconstruction of the new car park and new shops.
