Tetyana Chornovol, a popular Ukrainian journalist and opposition activist, who together with other opposition activists stormed Kiev’s city hall to prevent illegitimate Kiev Council sessions on January 29, 2013. The firebrand blogger has been brutally assaulted following her investigative work on President Viktor Yanukovych and other top officials.
