Djibouti, Somali Presidents discuss diplomatic efforts to defend unity of Somalia
Djibouti: Djibouti's President Ismail Omar Guelleh and his Somali counterpart, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who is visiting Djibouti, discussed on Monday diplomatic efforts to defend the unity, independence, and sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
During the meeting, the two leaders underscored the importance of the stance taken by countries that opposed the division of Somalia. They also agreed to enhance bilateral consultations and strengthen diplomatic cooperation to promote regional stability and uphold the core principles that govern relations between states.
