Doha, Qatar: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced the Thursday, January 1, 2026 will be an official holiday, with all financial institutions resuming work on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
QCB said the decision was pursuant to Article (4) of Amiri Decree No. (57) of 2025, outlining official working days, occasions, and public holidays in the State of Qatar.
