Doha: Under the patronage of the Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Minister of Environment H E Abdullah bin Mubarak bin Aabboud Al Maadhadi opened yesterday the Sixth Gulf Conference for Quality and the accompanying exhibition.
“Qatar’s hosting of the conference is a confirmation of its commitment to adopting international quality systems, as the country is keen to issue legislations pertaining to specifications, standards and their compatibility with the GCC and international requirements and on their application,” the minister said. He referred in this regard to the establishment of Qatar Quality Award since 2003.
The conference is being held under the slogan ‘Quality and Institutional Development.
