DOHA: HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani met at his Emiri Diwan office this morning with Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece Antonios Samaras and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country.
Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them.
HH the Emir meets outgoing Afghan Ambassador
HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met here at his Emiri Diwan Office on Wednesday morning with HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Qatar Khaled Ahmad Zakaria on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country.
At the outset of the meeting, HH the Emir granted the Afghan Ambassador the Sash of Merit in appreciation of his efforts in promoting relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his future assignments and the relations between the State of Qatar and Afghanistan further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Afghan Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir and the State's officials for the cooperation he received during his term of duty in Qatar. (QNA)
