DOHA: Temperature is expected to dip by about two degrees today due to the presence of strong northwesterly winds, according to the Meteorology Department.
Another cold spell could hit the country beginning Friday, after a possible rise in temperature on Thursday.
The country experienced relatively warm weather yesterday, despite the strong winds.
“This was due to the presence of southeasterly winds. A change in the wind direction to northwesterly could cause a fall in temperature from today,” said a forecaster at the department last evening.
The weather would remain dusty and partly cloudy today, similar to what was experienced yesterday. Temperature in Doha would hover between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius today.the peninsula
