Germany’s investigators in the village of Oradour-sur-Glane, southern France, yesterday. An investigation for war crimes is led by German and French authorities 68 years after the 1944 massacre. On June 10, 1944, a detachment of the SS Das Reich division was ordered to destroy the village and killed 642 people.
