DOHA: The final rounds to determine the three winners for the competitions, including Dau local division, Hudud Al Saluki and Hudud Al Tahaddi will be held today at Qatar Falcons and Hunting Festival in Sabkhat Marmi in Mesaieed.
The Mazayen contest to select the most beautiful falcon will be held tomorrow, followed by the awards ceremony in the evening at Katara.
Meanwhile, shooting championships concluded yesterday at the venue.
Ahmed Mubarak Al Kuwari, one of the organisers, said three sets of finals were held for shooting, including one for the 11-15 age group, an open division and another for experienced shooters.
Winners in the youth division were Ali bin Mohammed Deblan (first), Salem Al Nuaimi (second) and Sheikh Tamim Eissa Thamer Al Thani (third).
The open division’s winners were Nuraldin Abdussalam Ateiwa, followed by Rashed Taleb Al Uthba and Salem Rashid Abushreida.
The experienced shooting division’s winners were Hamad Abdullah Al Argani, followed by Salem Hamad Al Kereibi and Salem Rashid Al Uthba.
Several non-competitive events, including Hudud Al Habari and Hudud Al Saluki were also held yesterday.
