Abu Dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian discussed by phone the relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them.
The UAE News Agency reported that during the contact, the two sides discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, foremost of which are developments in the region and efforts exerted towards them.
The UAE President stressed his country's keenness to support all endeavors and initiatives aimed at consolidating regional security and stability for the benefit of all the peoples of the region and its countries.
They also stressed the importance of enhancing dialogue and diplomatic solutions in addressing various issues in a way that contributes to maintaining the security and stability of the region.
