Pope Francis prays during the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion in Saint Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican, yesterday. The Pope presided over his first Good Friday which will culminate in a torch-lit procession at Rome’s Colosseum. On Sunday, the Pope will celebrate Easter mass in front of tens of thousands of pilgrims in St Peter’s Square and then pronounce the traditional “Urbi et Orbi” blessing to Rome and the world.
