• There are demands that the Ministry of Environment extend the camping period, which is scheduled to end on April 17, in view of the pleasant weather. • Some Independent school teachers have complained about the school managements not paying for decoration of classrooms and forcing them to pay instead. Sometimes the teachers have to pay up to QR7,000 from their pockets.
• There are demands that the authorities name those responsible for the flooding of underpasses on Salwa Road following Wednesday’s rains, and take action against them to prevent the repetition of such incidents, save public money from being wasted, and protect the lives of motorists.
