DOHA: The appeal court in Doha has postponed the hearing in the Villagio fire case to May 10, to hear more witnesses from experts and inspectors from the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
The court will also examine some of the materials seized by Al Rayyan Municipality officials from the scene including computers, documents and rent contracts as part of a request from the first defendant the owner of the of the gutted complex in which 19 people lost their lives including toddlers.
The Court hearing on Monday was presided over by Judge Dr Abdul Rahman Sharfi and the session lasted for over six hours, reported Al Sharq.
