DOHA: The Department of Traffic will be fining motorists QR1,000 for not reporting accidents within 48 hours, particularly hit-and-run cases or mishaps in which a vehicle is damaged by unknown motorists or individuals while it is parked. Traffic authorities have decided to impose such a fine following their plan to ink deals with insurance companies to provide them details of traffic accidents online mooted late last month.
