DOHA: PwC launched 2014 State of Internal Audit Profession in the 4th National Conference on Internal Auditing organised by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)’s Qatar Chapter here recently.
The event was held from May 25 to 27 under the patronage of H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority. PwC were the Platinum sponsors for the conference.
“Our latest study is very relevant to Qatar market, which is going through transformational growth. The role of internal audit becomes even more important to provide independent assurance to the board, whilst responding to a wide variety of stakeholder demands,” said Andrew Garrett, Internal Audit Leader for PwC Middle East.
