Occupied Jerusalem - Israeli occupation forces arrested 9 Palestinians during a massive arrest campaign in Bab Al-Amoud area in occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said that occupation forces arrested 9 Palestinians, and imposed strict procedures and searches on everyone who passed through Bab al-Amud area.

Yesterday, local sources indicated that occupation forces arrested at least 50 citizens, including women and children, from the vicinity of Bab al-Amoud area and from the neighborhoods of the Old City and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In another development, dozens of settlers today stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavily guard by Israeli occupation forces.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the form of groups that started from the Mughrabi Gate, all the way to Bab al-Silsila, and carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in the mosque's courtyards.

This intrusion comes after a large-scale storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in which about 1,700 settlers participated. It preceded the flag march which the occupation and settlers call the "Unification of Jerusalem" day.

Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem AffairsFadi Al-Hadmi said, in a statement, the occupation authorities and settlers have desecrated Al-Aqsas courtyards by blatant and horrific violations of the historical and legal status of the mosque through massive incursions, performing of Talmudic rituals and raising occupation flags in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a separate context, the Israeli occupation forces closed the two main entrances to the village of Marada, north of Salfit in the West Bank, and prevented citizens from entering or leaving it.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces closed the two iron gates at the entrances to the village, and fired tear gas and sound bombs at the people who tried to enter it.

The village of Marda is subjected to repeated attacks by occupation forces, which repeatedly close and storm its entrances, while firing gas and sound bombs.
