Doha, Qatar: Loyola International School (LIS) hosted its highly anticipated Annual Science and Arts Exhibition at its Al Nasr and Oasis campuses, aptly named “Reflections.”
The event showcased the remarkable talents and achievements of the school’s students, spanning across various scientific, artistic, and technological disciplines. The event began with a grand inauguration ceremony featuring mesmerising cultural shows, and the exciting reveal of the event’s name.
Sachin Dinkar Shankpal, First secretary Education, Culture and Information, Embassy of India to Qatar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest at Oasis campus while E P Abdulrahman, President of Indian Sports Centre and Manikantan A P, President of Indian Cultural Center graced the occasion at Al Nasr campus.
They delivered inspiring speeches on the importance of nurturing young minds and commended LIS for its commitment to providing a holistic education that fosters creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
The exhibition showcased a wide range of projects, from robotics and motion sensors, working models of vital organs to exhibits flaunting literature and languages.
The students’ knowledge and innovation were on full display as they passionately explained their projects to visitors. In addition to the scientific exhibits, captivating theatre plays and beautifully crafted art projects added an artistic touch to the event.
The exhibition also featured selfie booths, engaging games, and food stalls, creating a festive and educational atmosphere. Pramod Kumar Ranwaka, the Principal of LIS, expressed his pride and appreciation for the students’ exceptional work.
