Qatar attends Arab forum on humanitarian action

Doha: Qatar participated in the first Arab Forum for humanitarian action in Abu Dhabi, organised by Zayed Initiative in cooperation with the Arab Union for Voluntary Work recently. 

The Forum coincided with the third session of the UAE’s humanitarian conference titled ‘Social Investment is our national responsibility’, Qatar News Agency reported yesterday.

Youssuf Al Kazim, Secretary-General of the Arab Union for Voluntary Work (AUVW), who is also the Secretary of Qatar Centre for Voluntary Activities (QCVA) said that the society in which aspects of growth and stability are achieved will enjoy peace and through cooperation of its  groups it could achieve strong development in various fields.

Speaking at the opening session of the forum, Al Kazim added that the realization of the development comes only through doubling efforts by all individuals and sectors of the community with the aim to achieve stability, prosperity and development for all.
