Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the renewal of aggressions by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the territories of both the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the State of Kuwait, considering them a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the two states and the integrity of their territories, and a blatant breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continuation of these aggressions represents a dangerous escalation that will complicate efforts aimed at containing tensions, and undermine political and diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
The Ministry stressed the need for an immediate and complete cessation of all military operations and attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region, refraining from any actions that could result in escalation, returning in earnest to the path of dialogue and negotiations, and adhering to the understandings reached through diplomatic efforts.
The Ministry renewed the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the State of Kuwait, and its support for all measures they take to preserve their sovereignty and security.
