Doha: A Symposium on the fourth World Entrepreneurship summit which is scheduled to be held in Malaysia on October 11 and 12 was held here on Wednesday.
The event, held under the auspices of the Embassy of Malaysia and Malaysia commercial centre in Doha, was attended by Dato Ahmad Jazri, the Malaysian Ambassador to Qatar and representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar and a number of diplomats as well as representatives of major companies and the various business’ activities in Qatar.
The Malaysian Ambassador Dato Ahmad Jazri said his country expects more than 3,000 bigwigs, businessmen, heads of civil society and policy makers to participate in the fourth World Entrepreneurship Summit (GES 2103) which is set to be held on October 11 and 12 in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.
He pointed out that the Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will inaugurate the summit which aims to empower entrepreneurs with the skills and necessary resources to compete and prosper in the 21st century.
