Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose 0.27% at the start of Sunday's trading session, gaining 26.46 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,902 points, supported by six sectors.
QSE data showed gains in the sectors of Real Estate (+0.66%), Industrials (+0.55%), Transportation (+0.32%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.27%), Insurance (+0.24%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.21%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Telecoms (-0.59%).
By 10am, trading on the QSE was valued at QR 64.804 million, with 37.199 million shares changing hands through 3,158 transactions, according to QSE data.
