DOHA: The capital market regulator has reduced the minimum capital requirement to QR2m, from QR5m, for SMEs wanting to be listed on the upcoming venture market.
The venture or junior stock market for small and medium-sized enterprises is expected to be operational by early next year.
The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) yesterday issued amendments to some provisions of its Decision Number 2 of 2011.
