Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani met with UK Secretary of State for Defence H E John Healy and the accompanying delegation during his visit to Qatar. The two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance them. The defence security guarantee was also signed, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs signing on behalf of the Qatar, and UK Secretary of State for Defence, signing on behalf of the UK. A number of senior officers and officials from both sides attended the meeting.
