Peru ministries celebrate books donation from Qatar

Lima: The Peruvian ministries of culture and foreign affairs have held a ceremony to mark the delivery of books donated by Qatar to the Peruvian Arabic Library established after the Summit of South American-Arab Countries, held in Lima in 2012.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador of the Qatar to the Republic of Peru Jamal Nassir Al Badr underlined the importance of books donated to enrich the Arabic library in Peru, which is viewed as one of the means of communication between the Qatari and Peruvian peoples and symbolises communication and knowing each other better.
For their part, Director of  Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf Region at the Foreign Ministry, and the President of the Peruvian National Library praised the  State of Qatar and its valuable contribution and hailed its achievements in various fields. The ceremony was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Peru and Foreign Ministry officials.
