Soccerex institutional partners LaLiga will use the upcoming Soccerex Asian Forum to showcase their activities in the Middle East and the growth of LaLiga across the region and the rest of Asia.
A delegation from the LaLiga international office in Dubai including Managing Director of International Development, Vicente Casado, Head of Business Development - Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Jose Maria Arrabal and General Director for MENA and International Projects, Fernando Sanz will all be attending at the event.
LaLiga will also sponsor the Soccerex VIP Lounge, rebranded to the LaLiga Lounge, as well as taking a stand on the exhibitor floor to better engage with the delegates in attendance.
Vicente will deliver an exclusive presentation on the success of LaLiga and the future of Spanish football, in terms of growth and development.
With previous success at the Spanish Football Federation starting in 2005, Vicente also has experience working for LaLiga club Malaga as Head of Development and Business from 2011 where he managed to restructure the club, helping wipe out all debt and guiding the team into the Champions League, where they reached the quarter-finals and kept consistency to achieve mid-table LaLiga finishes.
Jose will speak during a session about sponsorship activation, and will give his thoughts on what is required to successfully activate sponsorship across multiple territories.
Both Jose and Fernando Sanz have been instrumental in the growth of LaLiga in the region during recent years, and will share their insight into the progress of development for delegates.
Also present at the Asian Forum will be Malaga owner and President Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani, who took control of the club back in 2011. Since then, he has invested heavily in the squad and helped the club establish area close connection with the Middle East.
Hosted with the support of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and the Aspire Zone Foundation, the Forum will feature expert insights from the top of the football industry alongside high-level networking opportunities for delegates, giving them a chance to connect and mix with some of the key decision makers in the business.
The Forum will be held in Doha on December 5 and 6.
