Doha: Indian community leaders jointly released ‘CK Menon - a symbol of human love ‘ a memoir on late Padmashree Adv CK Menon at a glittering ceremony held at the Skills Development Centre auditorium on Wednesday.
People representing various socio-cultural organizations and well-wishers of the family were present at the auditorium expressing their love and appreciation to the noble works done by him to the community during his eventful life in Doha for the last 35 years.
Present at the launch was Menon’s son JK Menon and daughter Anjana Menon.
Addressing the capacity crowd JK Menon appreciated the concerns and respect of the community towards the humanitarian activities of his beloved father and announced that he would happily follow the footsteps of his great father in all aspects of human values and services. The greatest lessons I learned from my father was of compassion, human values, and social service and I will uphold these great principles throughout my life, he said.

The book on the prominent expatriate entrepreneur and social figure late Padmashree Adv. C.K.Menon is a collection of memories compiled and edited by Doha based author Dr Vadakkangara and published by Kozhikkode based Lipi publications.
It includes memories by the Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala, Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, PK Kunhalikutty MP, Munavarali Shihab Thangal, KC Joseph MLA, Kerala Media Academy Chief RS Babu, Binoy Viswam MP, noted music director Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, magician RK Malayath, Menon’s son J K Menon and by various officials leading the socio-cultural organisations in Qatar.
