The MS King Seaways, operated by DFDS Seaways, is docked at the Port of Tyne in North Sheilds near Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, northeast England, yesterday after a fire on board the vessel sparked a rescue operation. British police arrested two men for the suspected arson attack. Seven people were airlifted to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. In all, 946 passengers and 127 crew were on board the ship travelling from Newcastle to Amsterdam.
