Doha: Oman’s Ministry of Tourism is set to take part in the Mice Arabia Congress which is taking place here on February 27 and 28.

“Mice Arabia Congress is a timely event as we need to work regionally to build business and meetings tourism. We have leading airlines, hotels and visitor experiences but the region attracts a relatively small proportion of international and global events. I am sure this will be an important area of discussion among delegates,” Khalid Al Zadjali, Director of Tourism Events and Cruise Shipping, said.

Organised by QnA International, the congress will bring together government officials, marketing and administrative heads, travel managers, academicians, event directors, PR and communication heads and hospitality service providers to discuss the importance of business tourism in the GCC region.
