Sydney---Massimo Luongo scored on the stroke of half-time as Australia took a 1-0 lead into the break in the Asian Cup final on Saturday.
Luongo's turn and shot from just outside the box put the hosts ahead after a spell of pressure by South Korea in front of a capacity crowd of 80,000 in Sydney.
