Second round of Qatar International Endurocross

DOHA: The second round of the season of Qatar International Endurocross will take place today near Sealine Beach Resort.
 In the E1 category, Kuwaiti rider Meshari Abou Shaibah leads his category with 50 points after winning the both races of the opening round in January. 
Compatriot Moath Al Ansari is second with 44 points while Saeed Al Shenqiti from the UAE is third with 40 points.
Mohammed Jaffar, who won the last year in the E1 category, has changed to the E2 this season and is leading in his category with 47 points. 
Jaffar finished second in the first race and won the second race of the previous round in the E2 class. 
British rider Jake Preston is second with 45 points. 
Mohammed Al Balooshi from the Emirates with 42 points stands in third position.
Fahad Al Musallam from Kuwait is leading the Quads after his double wins in the opening round. 
Mohammed Al Kulaifi and Abdulla Nasser are second and third respectively in the Quads category.
Action will start at 10:30am with the free practice for bikes and quads. The first race for bikes is at 12:15 and at 1:10pm for quads. 
The second race for bikes is at 2:05pm and for quads at 3:00pm. 
Podium ceremonies will be after the second race of quads, organisers Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) said in a statement yesterday.
At the end of next month, QMMF will stage the first round of the MXGP Motocross World Championship.
